According to my own data gathered from over 48,000 of university websites from all around the world, I have determined that WordPress powers an estimated 10,400 of them (21%). This data also includes faculty sub-domains.

In a future post I will share unique data and statistics about the usage of WordPress in academia, but for now let’s look at some great university websites that are powered by WordPress.

Please share your thoughts on your favorite websites in the comments section at the bottom of the post.
